The original repository of dnscrypt, the FOSS project used for encrypting DNS queries, is now dead: https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy/

And in a totally unexpected turn of events. DNSCrypt v2 was announced by the original developer. Seems even better, give or take the bloat of installing Go.
